“Can you use these speakers on a 4ohm car radio system without causing damage to the radio or speakers”

• Thanks for your interest in our product. As per your inquiry, If the Head Unit can only handle the lowest impedance of 4 ohms, and you connect a 2.3 ohm speaker, It will run hotter as It will try to produce power way over the RMS wattage, at high volumes and will eventually fail. Both Head Unit and speakers will play distortion at high volume levels.
