The ear bus are attached to the ends of the band they don’t retract, but they are magnetic so it keeps them secure without the worry of losing them. Wish this feature was on all headphone have lost many pairs this way

The ear bud holders are magnetic and stick together when not in use. They are not retractable

No retract, the cords are rather short and are attached to a band that goes around your neck. I like this feature.
