I can hear myself talk but my voice is a little muffled. It took me a week or so to get use to them but they're great now that I’m use to it. They help to block out sound from the rest of the office flat too.

Thanks for your question. It's not normal to hear yourself echo when using headphones for calling. Our JBL Live 400BT is made with that in mind so you won't hear yourself and can only hear the person you're talking to which is actually a pretty smooth call.
