Our JBL PartyBox 110 can be used while plugged into a power source or run on battery. We don't recommend depleting the battery because this can affect the battery life of the speaker. I am disappointed I couldn’t use the mic and it will be wasted together with the on the Go. I have a jbl flip that is with me for 3 years already , and again disappointed as i only had the on the Go for less than a year :( and it is relatively much cheaper than the flip:((( I really like the jbl’s speakers coz they sound really good , that’s why i bought an another one today the partybox110 Hopefully it’ll last more Answer#2 It didn’t work for me.. i wish it just did, it is such a very good microphone then it’ll be wasted with the on the Go. Can’t help but feel disappointed Merry Christmas everyone
