• Yes, you can lay it on its side. It has rubber stoppers on the sides to hold it in place.

• The output power of our JBL Partybox 110 is 160W Watts. It's not a good idea to run it from a car. You'd need a power inverter to bring up the voltage because it needs to be hooked into a power source to work.
