Is the 300 water resistant? null

Our JBL Partybox 300 it's not IPX rated so it's not water-resistant. We suggest keeping it away from being splashed with water to avoid damaging it. However, you can check our JBL PartyBox 310 has IPX4 splashproof protection. If you need more help, please contact us here. https://bit.ly/2zwFkYM

It doesn’t say it is in the description. I would not trust that it was. However, ours has gotten sprinkled on and dewed on at field parties and bonfires with no ill results. But I love my speaker and wouldn’t take the chance.
