Almost a jack of all trades kinna speaker. It's ac, no wait, battery powered. Bluetooth and RCA input and output, mic & guitar inputs, 120rms(250w peak), it sounds good at low and stupid high volumes(from classical to trap...wow!), partylights on or off, 2 bass boost modes...monster and god modes :) If you're seriously serious about your music sounding being portable, loud, clear...and loud just buy one

I think this is the best purchase I have ever made in my life. Granted it was on sale for near the price of the smaller JBL xtreme. Incredible sound, and is a PARTY. I want to buy another just to double the party. Downside, heavy, doesn’t fit on your back. Would like the app to have more controls on sound. But can adjust thru iTunes setting. Not sure on the weather proof side of things. Upside, loud hq sound, party lights are cool af. Battery life is good. Rugged functional simple. Perfect for indoors and out.

The JBL Partybox 300 has the best sound quality ever!!! The bass boost makes the bass hit harder on low sounds

I am very happy with my speaker it plays very clear and easy to connect with computer and phone I would highly recommend it though it's quite big I find it to be very easy to move

Wish you can connect it with other JBL Bluetooth speakers with the jbl connect button (wirelessly) . Love this produce it has rich/heavy BASS. Also i wish the volume could be higher with the Bass.

Love this speaker I have a set of 300 and also a set of 100s and all together they sound so clear and nice I never wanna leave my room because of how good they all sound together.

I bought two for the true stereo sound they work great in pairs and the lights are pretty cool.

The only bad thing about this speaker is the price. But you definitely get what you paid for.

Couldn’t be happier... bought it for my husband and he loves it... we rocked Christmas!! He also plans on using it for DJ gigs. He has a wedding in January and that is when we will give it the full test.

Sounds great looks good. Keep in mind this is the older model and is missing some upgraded features.

is good but if you need for parties get a better one this one is for the house is not too loud like a party needs

This is my fourth different JBL speaker that I have purchased that uses Bluetooth connectivity. The sound from these built in speakers is truly amazing. The bass boost feature really thumps the place. This speaker is really loud and the music coming out of it sounds so clear and sweet. I’ve never tested the batteries in it as far as a complete rundown but I have gone ten hours at medium volume with no shutdowns. Used it outside at a party recently and it got lots of compliments. Some were amazed it was only $450 but a couple said it seemed like a lot of money just for a speaker but after I cranked it up they changed their mind. Love the flashing strobe lights and the different designs it makes with the music. Especially at dusk it really looked amazing. Even the smaller kids liked watching it. I am considering getting another so I can play true stereo as it can connect just for that feature. It comes with a 15’ car DC cable to keep the music playing if the batteries get low and it can also be used as an amp for your guitar or to connect a microphone to. I see it going to more parties this summer and fall and for the other times in the corner of my bedroom as I jam to my Pandora hits. Thank you JBL for continuing to bring the consumers great products. My 2- Charge 3’s Extreme 2 and the Boombox are all great products and durable. I’ll continue purchasing more as I love my music and I love quality products.

I love this speaker but I was expecting more from it because of its size. Nonetheless it is still a great speaker and still loud enough. Sounds clear and has nice bass without using the bass boost. This speaker shines when the volume is above 50%. I have the extreme 2 and I feel that it does a better job indoors at 50% volume vs this partybox 300 at 50%. Don’t get me wrong, if you have the money and are in limbo between the extreme 2 and this one, choose the 300 in my most humble opinion.. Extreme is more portable with great sound And great battery life. The 300 great battery life as well but not as portable, but it can go with you if you are willing to haul it around.Of course they both have their pros and cons but that’s up to you to decide if it works for you. Also consider the partybox 100. Only downside is the battery life, not as good as the other 2 but it’s okay. The 100 is the in between these 2. For the Sound and bass, this speaker is my favorite because I can feel the bass when I want to feel it.

I love it! great sound! the sound filled up our big room. the lights go in beat with the music is a big plus with my teens that are 15 and 13 , plus my son loved that he can hook up his guitar ,and there is a mic hook up too. and it comes with a cord to hook up to a cigarette lighter to take on the road when the wireless needs charged. I always buy Sony but the sound is great plus the lights on it is EPIC! again I have teens so that seems to be the hip word these days . the sound also fills this big tent which we are getting for her graduation so that again is important .

Amazing sound and lights and completely easy to use. I saw this in store around Christmas time and just thought how cool it would be to have. Stuck at home during COVID-19, I jumped at the chance to get the PartyBox 300 when it was on sale. Speaker is fairly heavy (37 lbs or so), but has built in handles, and not the kind that have moving pieces that often times break off, so very durable. Long battery life, awesome bass boost, three different light display settings or you can choose to have lights off. Like other reviewers, I didn't feel that it was very loud, even when set at max volume. However, I loved this so much I bought another. The pair look super cool together and sound just blows you away.

Purchased this one the fly not really thinking about the uses. Has came in handy while working outdoors or barbecuing. Seems i use this one more outdoor than the JBL charge 3. Sounds great and nice balance in bass and treble. The light patterns are random and do not flicker with the music but still impressive at night at a small party. Wanting to pickup another to pair up as a L and R speaker. The mic input works great and can keep music playing while speaking or singing. Would recommend this one to anyone that enjoys music. Battery life is also great can use full 6-7 hours outdoor cranked up and will keep going. Kind of a pain to carry around but once set up you will leave it there and play music.
