Hi, on my experience geeksquad are very competitive, and i think they have experience to fix problems like that, but you are rigth you have to see with costumer service if you still under warranty or if you buy the warranty on the beginning, and from there they gonna give to you the rigth indication to continue working on your problem on mentioned, have a great day
