The battery has a PCM (Protection Circuit Module) and charge management IC built-in, that monitors and control the charging current. Once fully charged it will cut-off the current to protect the battery.

You'll suddenly notice elements of your favorite songs that you couldn't hear before—like a rhythm guitar panned hard to the left or drum fills transitioning from the right speaker to the left. You're finally experiencing the track as the producer intended. Is one speaker enough? If you're just tossing a speaker in the trunk for a tailgate or moving it from room to room while cleaning, then one is definitely sufficient. It’s a brilliant, highly capable standalone speaker.
