• The official Bluetooth specifications say seven is the maximum number of Bluetooth speakers that can be connected to a single source at once. However the number will also be limited by the type of device you are connecting the speakers to. In most cases 3-4 is the maximum number of connections a device with handle.

• Usually one speaker can be used at a time. I tried with two but only one had sound.

• With all the speakers connected via the JBL connect app a total of four speakers can be connected all together for a surround sound feel.
