- Answer Thanks for your inquiry. Our JBL Tune 245NC features noise cancelling with Smart Ambient. However, we cannot guarantee that extremely loud background noises will be fully filtered out, you may still hear a little noise if the sound is too loud. Therefore, we recommend contacting the manufacturer of the AirPods 2 and 3 to have more information and choose the one that best suits your preferences.

When connected to your iPhone 17, our JBL Tune 245NC can have text messages read aloud and callers announced through the earbuds by enabling Siri’s "Announce Notifications" and "Announce Calls" features on your iPhone. Our JBL Tune 245NC does not have its own built-in text-reading system, it relies on whatever your phone and Siri support.

QuestionAre these earbuds OSHA approved noise canceling headphones?

- Answer I don't know what OSHA is, but the noise cancelling on these is very weak. They take out maybe 3% of external noise. You can just detect a difference between noise cancelling on and off, but only just. For all intents and purposes, there is no functional noise cancelling on these.
