“I purchased Xtreme 2 when it 1st came out and was disappointed that the overall volume was less than the 1st version but then Jbl released a firmware update version 1.6 that really helped so I just got a 2nd Xtreme 2 and dont see the update in the app????”

If we're talking about the JBL Connect app.,? Plug in the JBL Xtreme 2 and start the app. If an upgrade is available there will be a RED dot at the bottom of the screen where the gear is. If you tap the gear and go to the next screen, it will tell you what version you're running now and what version is available. Tap the (and I'm paraphrasing) "I have followed the Instructions" button and the app will start to download and install the new version. The process takes about five minutes.
