• Thanks for your inquiry. Yes, you can use our JBL Xtreme 4 while plugged in and charging. It has a PCM (Protection Circuit Module) and a charge management IC built-in, which manage and detect the charging process. Once fully charged, it will cut off the current to protect the battery.
