- Answer It's very disappointing to see that the new JBL Xtreme 4 no longer includes an AUX input. As a DJ and loyal customer who's owned every generation of the Xtreme, I’ve relied on this feature for small gatherings and trips. The AUX input has been essential for connecting my DJ console, as Bluetooth connectivity isn’t an option for that purpose. I currently own the Xtreme 3 and was planning on upgrading to the 4, but with the removal of the AUX input, I’ll have to consider other brands. I hope JBL brings back this important feature in future generations of the Xtreme.

- Answer Better answer would be 100 watts while plugged into an outlet and 70 watts when on battery power. Since you cannot achieve 170 W total because the unit cannot be played in AC mode and battery mode simultaneously.

- Answer NO, there is no place too plug anything in except the charging port w/a USB - C type plug. the Xtreme 4 can not handle that type of strong power source, it would blow out the fuses & the ion lithium battery pack.

- Answer YES, the JBL Xtreme 4 speaker has a USB - C charging port. The older types like JBL Xtreme 2 speaker has a female pin jack that plugs into the charging port.
