The XTREME can output up to 40W of power and will fill-up a decent sized room but on such set-up you've mentioned, you will be needing more powerful speakers. The distance from where you can still hear it clearly is subjective to many things but on a quiet environment, should provide you around 20-30 feet.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I use mine at work today we had a busy street and equipment running and we could hear it from 20ft fairly easy at full volume. I did walk about about 50ft from the speaker when the machinez we're off and could hear it with no problem.
