Q: QuestionSo my jbl extreme wouldn’t charge, I held the link button and the volume up button and the speaker shut off and it won’t turn on again, when connected to power cable the only light is the led indicator, power button light is not on

• A:Answer You can use an equalizer if it is a wired configuration. on a wireless or Bluetooth connection you would need to use the equalizer on the sending device. The JBL extreme has a really nice sound and you might not even need one!

Q: QuestionHi, My Extreme more than a year old. Problem with charging. 5 led lights don't reflects full charge never even if i keep charging going 10-15 hours. Last led light is always blinking and once i remove the power cable switching of in few minutes. WHYYY???

• A:Answer Very common problem. The batteries go bad and swell. You can buy a replacement battery on ebay. Otherwise, try to exchange it if it is still under warranty.

• A:Answer Hello, unfortunately this is not possible. The Boombox and the Xtreme have 2 different proprietary features. The Boombox has the Connect + feature and the Xtreme has only Connect. The products that only have the Connect + feature are namely the JBL Boombox, JBL Flip 4, and JBL Pulse 3. The main difference between the Connect and Connect + is that the Connect only allows you to wirelessly link up to (2) devices with the same feature at a time while the Connect + allows you to wirelessly link up to a hundred devices with the same feature.

• A:Answer Whichever speaker is currently setup to play audio for your computer will play Cortana's voice; however, this does not mean that you can talk to the microphone in the Xtreme with Cortana. This only means that the Xtreme will play the sounds of the Cortana. You still need a mic with your computer so you can give it commands.
