Are the knobs made out of metal or plastic? null

Yes, they are definitely Solid Metal. Excellent finish. We are certainly enjoying our New Cook Jenn Air Gas Cook Top. Our first one (it was electric) lasted for over 40 Years!! Of course we had to change switch knobs and the pluggable electric cartridges.
