Hi Donny! The Ryder e-scooter was not created specifically for handicapped riders, but it actually sounds like it'd be the perfect option for a handicap mobility device! We have had previous members of our Jetson family use their e-device for this very reason, and we think the Ryder e-scooter would work very well for this purpose! You can find more information about ADA mobility devices at ada.gov. It might be a good idea to check with local store locations just to ensure that they will permit the Ryder on their premises under ADA guidelines. We hope this helps!
