• I have the canon m50 similar to the SL2 with a mic and it holds it really well no weight issues.

• Yes. I have a friend that shoots with that same set up plus the Rode Mic. This tripod will hold it with no issues!

• No, most DSLR's will be to front heavy for this tripod. If you use a very little and short lens it will stand up with the legs very straight and no bends.
