• There’s a tiny screw right next to the door on the side with all the text. In the attached photo the screw driver is pointing to it. Mine had a CR2032 battery in it.

• I broke mine in half with a hammer and a chisel, and then ordered a new one

• After you get the screw out slide the battery out downward below writing.
