• Yes it will work. I use my USB plug in my pickup for music and to charge my phone. I don't use the bluetooth.

• If your phone and car equipment had HDMI connectors I suppose it would work.

• Yes it should. But I tried again on Samsung S9 and it did not transfer, does power ok. Unsure if it is an Android setting issue. Have newer jvc stereo, Bluetooth has worked on my phone to stereo.
