Its possible if you plug into the regular Usb port to charge the Ipad Mini . Generally apple wants you to use their products on their equipment but id say give it a shot and if it doesn`t work take it back and use your refund to get an apple charger at a reduced price. Also if you can get to a store ask an employee inside the store they should be able to help. they probably have one with a lighting cable that will work for you. because this one is meant for android phones it might work but slowly but then again could charge very fast .

It's totally ok to ask tech questions on any website. A trademark doesn't mean you shouldn't ask for tech help. That's completely wrong. A user commented saying this isn't a charger. That is also wrong. This device IS a charger. So go ahead and use this charger, with any device it's compatible with.
