No you don’t need to buy any kit, the only things needed is the part to make it fit into your dash, all the extra parts needed cost me about $100 more or top of the stereo, now if you do purchase, ask them if they can do a software update on it first otherwise you’ll have issues, because they sit there in the box for a while they are not uodated and it doesn’t update manually you have to download the soafware.
