QuestionI see this radio has the capabilities of XM radio, is it Xm ready or do you need additional things for XM? That's besides the prescription? Is this a good radio??

- Answer You need to purchase the xm tuner as an add on item. I think this is a pretty nice radio.

- Answer There is a long black USB cable that is mounted on the back and normally runs to the front.

- Answer It probably would. Mine is a 2013 Silverado. Radio does AM,FM, Serious XM, hands free phone via Blue Tooth, back-up camera. Probably more.

QuestionThis is a follow up question. The vehicle is in park and when I enter a DVD it indicates that it is loading, then "Parking Off" appears. I can hear the audio but no video appears on the screen of the radio.

- Answer The parking brake has to be on to see the video it's a safety feature so you can't watch the video & drive at the same time

- Answer That is a safety feature to prevent you from watching a DVD while driving. To get around that simply attach the parking brake wire on the back of the unit (Park SW) to the ground wire.

- Answer My vehicle already has Sirius radio, but I think they have to hook it up to the JVC unit. A Best Buy technician would be able to give a more accurate answer. I have a 6 week wait to get a Best Buy installation appointment, so I'm not the best person to ask.
