• No it does not have a built in microphone. I believe subscription is the only thing you need for Xm. Photo is of the directional microphone. Did not even notice it until I was halfway home. It works very well!

• Yes on the built in microphone. And works very well. Do not have Sirius XM but I know it comes with a ready to use cable hook up.
