QuestionCannot get CarPlay to work. I get "the iPhone does not support CarPlay" Tried several apple oem lightning cables, after market cables. Updated firmware from JVC website. Using iPhone Xr iOS 16. Tried iPhone 11 on 15.7, 7+ on 15.7 & 7+ on 14 with no luck.

- Answer We recommend that you reset the unit by pressing the small button on the lower left corner with a paper clip or ball point pen. You can also connect your Lightning to USB cable from the phone directly to the units USB port without a USB mount or USB extension.

- Answer I don't know i own toyota's. I would think it would work in almost any vehicle. You would have to buy the installation kit for you car.

- Answer Yes, in car mode only. If you have your usb phone charging cable connected to the USB port wire that hangs out of the back of the stereo and connected to your iPhone just say “hey Siri” and she will make phone calls, send text messages, and open iTunes & Apple music.
