I bought a used truck with one of these installed that had this exact problem, I was sure that the wiring was bad and that it would be a big headache to fix. But then I simply reset the radio to factory settings and it has been working like a charm since, just choose the setting that says initialize and you are good to go. I'm not sure what the original owner could have done to cause this issue but my guess would be that he tried to bypass the device's security settings to watch videos while driving. This simple fix 100% worked for me and hopefully it will help someone else out as well.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I'm following. Mine is doing the same thing.....I've been told there may be conflicts between Bluetooth being active/connected and CarPlay active at the same time.... Doesn't make sense to me.
