“Stereo plays fine until I turn it up the base continues to play but the high signal scrambles and becomes distorted at this point the highs stop playing and I have to turn the unit off and back on for it to play again. Protection mode doesn’t show eithe”

Call the guy who installed mine at the Wilkes barre Best Buy. This guy was very impressive. I did get new speakers , subwoofer and amp along with my head unit. Redid my whole sound. And it’s amazingly balanced and solid all the way up. Installer told me not to go all the way up little distortions can blow the speakers. But I’m cool with that.
