• No. The DVD player only works when the car is in Park or shut off (in aux gear). This is a safety feature so the driver isnt distracted. You would need a separate DVD player for the passenges in the back.

• Don't know ! haven't even tried. You might ask your installer to see if they can do that or even if it is possible. With my experience you cannot because of the way it is designed while in driving mode.
