The head unit is standalone. You just need to provide power and speaker circuits. The owner's manual provides a breakdown of which wire is which. No interface with the car's computer system is necessary.

I guess only thing you'll need to worry about is the wire harness you'll need to have it work in that vehicle. This unit is pretty much a smart device which works real well with smartphone. I use IPhone which uses carplay to function.
