“Is the KW-V660BT suppose to go into backup camera mode when you put the car in reverse or do you have to click on the backup camera option. I replaced a factory Toyota Tacoma radio with this until. Tacoma auto changed in reverse to show camera view.”

I had this installed in my 2009 Colorado. Love it. Works perfectly. As soon as I put truck in reverse, the backup camera appears on the screen. I had the camera that is installed above the rear license plate.
