• It does not play usb or flash drives. Only cds and it comes ready with pandora and spotify on which you would use Bluetooth to pair and then you can listen to music and it is Sirius xm ready but you have to purchse a plan with Sirius. Ask best buy about subscriptions fir Sirius.

• As long as the USB can be formatted to FAT 32 it should be able to read your USB. You can try adding 1 MP3/WMA file on the USB to see that it reads it correctly. If you have anymore questions it would be best to call JVC to help you troubleshoot.
