“The install manual describes an orange/white wire as 'Illumination'. I want to replace an existing radio in an older motorhome and the motorhome does not have a corresponding orange/white wire. What does it do? Can I leave it disconnected?”

• Yes you can but your radio display will not dim when you turn on your headlights.

• The illumination wire when connected will dim the radio when the head lights are turned on. This is not a required connection so if your vehicle doesn't have this connection simply just put a cap on it. Again its not a required connection.
