Annie, that is a great question. They provide good isolation, but they are not noise cancellation headphones. Please check your local, state, and federal laws about wearing headphones while driving.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have enjoyed wearing mine in the car, but i only wear one plugged into my ear while I'm driving. The other end drapes behind my neck and over my shoulder. People I talk to on the phone report clear transmission. I mostly listen to audio books while driving so sound quality isn't as big a deal as with music. However, I think it far more important to hear traffic and emergency vehicles than to have concert hall sound quality while I'm driving. These don't "noise cancel", but they muffle outside sounds even when volume is very low, so i choose to be safe while driving.
