• Yes, the display is bright enough and my call with an iphone is loud and clear. It did not come with a remote.

• The radio does have its own brightness adjustment to change if needed. As for the Bluetooth there are volume adjustments if need to be turned up. A remote does not come with the radio but can be purchased separately.
