On Xbox one s your answer is NO Not sure about PlayStation, but my guess is NO I bought Xbox one s thinking I could play 4K disk and stream 4K from vudu, not the case. It took Microsoft about two weeks to come clean, after phone call after phone call. They had me thinking it was my high speed hdmi cable and then when everyone was eliminated but the Xbox one s, they come clean and said that Xbox one s does not support projectors. This is my second projector first one was a runco. I have found that good equipment requires good equipment or it just won't work. Buy this 4K player and you will be blown away once you got it all up and running. This is what I installed yesterday and it worked, only one that I could get to work actually. No vudu access though just Netflix. But it has YouTube and there is enless 4K and 8k shows. Panasonic - DMP-UB900 - 4K Ultra HD Wi-Fi Built-In Blu-ray Player - Black its expensive but on sale for $599.99 Any questions hit me back and I'll try to get back with you.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, the projector is not 3D capable.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It willl play 3D movies and 4K UHD content but there are known issues with the colorspace/bit(BT 2020) and HDR on both playing devices. They will simply not output all of the capabilities of the projector. As such this is not a limitation of the projector but rather the implementation of the HDR and colorspace in the Xbox and PlayStation. It may be easily rectified in the future via firmware updates on either the player or projector but if you had a choice today: I would recommend connecting the x550r to either the Panasonic or Phillips UHD players presently on the market.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It does 3D, very well I heard (mine not set up for yet). Though not a full 4K (laser) projector, it does 4K UHD well. Its e-shift handles 4K great. Ps4 pro streams only though, xbox1s plays UHD discs. Mine plays from a Philips 4K player beautifully.
