• The device itself will be rechargeable. You will be provided a USB power source to plug into your device. All you have to do is remove the video doorbell from the mount (just pull up and pull out.)

• You could but would not be able to mount it in it's holder if you did since the charging port is on the bottom.

• It uses micro USB so pretty much as long as you supply it with power using micro USB you should be fine regardless of it being a battery pack or you plugging it into a nearby outlet.
