Q: QuestionHow far from the base does the arm reach out (pull toward you)? What is the most commonly mounted monitor size?
Asked by Shopper.
- A:Answer The DMS1000 extends 23.3" from the base to the back of the monitor, at full extension and is designed for monitors from 17" to 32" weighing 3.3 lb to 16.5 lb. Please email us directly if you have any other questions and we'll be happy to help.

Q: QuestionIs the weight capacity really as low as 16.5lbs? I'm looking to mount a 34" that's 16.8lb.
Asked by Astral.
- A:Answer It PROBABLY can handle a little more than the advertised weight. I have a 28" monitor in the mid-range of weight and I had to dial the tension way down. The "weakest" point of the setup will be the ball joint at the back of the mounting plate. If it's going to fail from weight, that's where it will happen.

Q: QuestionWill this be able to handle the LG 38UC99-W Monitor (20.5 lbs) (37.5 inches curved)(35+ inches left to right)? Purchased at Best buy, and if not, do you have a monitor arm that will?
Asked by Inquizitor.
- A:Answer Inquizitor, The maximum weight capacity of the DMS1000 is 16.5 lbs and the weight of your monitor without the stand is 16.9 lbs meaning it's just out of range of the mount. Our DM1000 would work but it is not a gas strut mount. Feel free to contact us directly using the support button on our website if you have any additional questions, thanks.

Q: QuestionHOW HIGH CAN THIS ARM RAISE THE SCREEN? WE ARE HOPING TO STACK 2 SCREENS WITH THE FIRST BEING SET ON THE DESKTOP AND THE OTHER ABOVE WITH THIS ARM
Asked by CONCEPTINSURANCE.
- A:Answer If you have the monitor on the desk at a low or moderate level on its own stand, this would work. I've raised my monitor about 2 feet off my desk with this mount.
