“Good morning, I am wondering about the compatibility of this mount with a Samsung model un55js9000fxza curved screen tv. The mount will be recessed into a cabinet that currently houses a 40 " tv. It will have to remain open by at least 6".”

Your TV has a compatible VESA pattern of 400mm x 400mm and is under the weight limit of 100 lbs, it should work great! The FMC4 sits 3.1” (8 cm) from the wall and extends 26” (66 cm) from the wall.
