“Can this be used on an outside TV? If so, is there anything special about this bracket (as far as using it for an outside TV) or is it just like every indoor bracket. Also, how close, snug to the wall can you get it if its not on any swivel?”

We do not recommend the PS400 for outdoor use as it does not have galvanized steel frames and powder-coated finish help to prevent rust and protect against wear and tear like our mounts that are specifically designed for outdoor use.
