yes, when you mount the backing plate to the tv, it wouldn't be in the way.. The only problem I forsee for you would be.. I removed the stand to mount my Sony, I wouldn't be sure if you would be able to have both attached.

Then the square part of bracket, hangs from the telescoping center 3 bolt bracket. I liked this tv moount kit. It was easy to assemble and install. I will buy from them again. Hope this was of some help.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, the frame stays bolted to the back of the tv. To move the tv, simply remove 2 nuts and loosen the third and lift the tv off of the mount. It’s like a hook and latch system.
