A:AnswerYes you can. Even though the PDX680 doesn't have a tilt knob you can tension the tilting mechanism so that it will keep your TV in place wherever you adjust it. It might take a bit of time to dial it in perfectly but you can tilt on the fly once it's setup correctly. Feel free to contact us directly using the support button on our website if you have any additional questions, thanks.
A:AnswerNo it doesn't. I installed mine a couple of days ago, so the details are fresh in my memory. Nothing mentioned in the owner's manual and no extra parts were left over. As long as the thief had a hex nut wrench or a decent pair of pliers, they could remove the two bolts that secure the connection between two parts of the mount (the wall piece and the tv piece).
A:AnswerNancy,
We can only recommend the installation methods that are in our manual using the provided hardware to install into wood or concrete walls. Metal studs are hollow and do not provide the structure necessary for our lag bolts to grip into. For this type of installation we recommend consulting a professional installer to determine if your wall is able to safely hold the weight of the mount and TV, and how to install correctly. If you have any other questions please contact us directly through the support tab on our website and we'll be happy to help.

A:AnswerFor installation regarding off center studs we recommend our PMX line as it has the ability to center your TV on the wall regardless of where your studs are located by adjusting the PMXs arm assembly. This can range from 6” (15.2 cm) left or right to 11” (27.9 cm) left or right. Depending on which version of the PMX you go with. The PMX is very similar to the PDX, expect the PMX has the horizontal offset.
