agnes54, The MTM65PL can support 300x200 VESA patterns. The base of the stand is not meant to sit directly on the ground, it's made to sit on wheels. If you found some furniture pads that could thread into the same opening that the wheels use then you could theoretically have it sit closer to the floor.
