“Will a sound bar fit beneath a 65" Sony Television with this base?”

• you can raise the stand up and down so if you raise the tv up a few inches it will fit. I have a sound bar right in front of the TV stand base. The base is deeper than the TV so I have the sound bar below the TV. The stand has a wide base to hold the TV so the sound bar is below the TV but slightly in front on the base on the stand
