A:Answer Yes, you can raise the TV lower or higher but this cannot be done arbitrarily. When you decide on a particular height, you must tighten the screw/bolt. More importantly, if you are setting this stand on the floor, the TV will only be about a foot and a half from the floor so you will need a table to bring the TV up to eye level.
