“Will this switch work as one switch of a 3 way setup? That is if I have a 3 way switch can I use this one as 1 switch and a different 3 way switch (non motion detecting or smart switch) as the second switch?”

My guess is no, but haven’t tried it. I plan to buy one for a 3 way, but I will just get rid of the second switch.
