Yes you can use an iPhone 8. This watch works best with android. iPhone functionality is limited. You can get notifications (they won’t pop up but they will go to the notification tab). You can’t make calls or text back you also won’t hear or feel any notifications. Google services doesn’t make you pay for their services for this watch.
