• A:Answer KEF LS50 are passive speakers, which means they need to be connected to an amplifier or AV receiver. LS50 Wireless II are active speakers, they have built in amplifiers and they have wireless capability. I have LS50 Wireless II and am very happy with their performance.

• A:Answer One of the speaker is primary and other is secondary, Connection is needed between them for secondary speaker to play music. There are two ways to connect them 1. Interconnect cable (included) 2. Wireless I am using wireless connection which is working good. All your source inputs go into the primary speaker, like HDMI ARC from TV. etc.. These are not plugged into secondary speaker. Each speaker needs to be plugged into power socket.

• A:Answer Not really; they're designed to function as a stereo pair. They don't support LFE either, just a standard Sub Out. I love these for music, but for home theater use they're not very flexible.

• A:Answer KEF is having supply issues, but for reasons that probably aren't interesting enough to describe in detail Best Buy's inventory system is exaggerating the problem. Keep checking back, the black color has been in and out of stock. I got mine through Best Buy a few months ago. If you don't want to wait they are available elsewhere; just be sure you check KEF's website and order from an authorized retailer or they'll void your warranty.

• A:Answer I'm traveling at the moment and can't put a measuring tape on them, but KEF's website says each speaker HWD is 305 x 200 x 311 mm (12 x 7.9 x 12.2 in.), and that sounds right having looked at them on a daily basis for a month and a half.
