• From the Kenwood manual, it seems it is compatible with certain Kenwood cameras, not other cameras from different manufacturers. I didn't try other ones.

• Although i do not have my side cameras connected, the unit definitely has the inputs for both sides, rear and front. I love my unit and have owned it about one month.
