  • QuestionBest Buy says that this will not fit my 2014 Mercedes Sprinter Van but Crutchfield sells an installation kit and says it will fit. If I buy the stereo from BB and the installation kit elsewhere will BB install it?

    • Answer It will fit but you’ll need to purchase the appropriate dash kit for your van (and possibly a vehicle specific wire harness). I would recommend watching an install video or two on YouTube. I installed this unit in my RV without any car audio install experience and it took me about an hour. Very glad I watched the videos first tho because it saved me from making mistakes that would cost TONS of time and trouble shooting.

  • QuestionI plan on installing this unit in our motorhome. Will the audio from the AM/FM radio or Bluetooth from my android phone play with sound at the same I am running the backup/side camera's. My old unit an Axxera AVM111NAV would not do both at the same time.

When you shift into reverse, the DMX1037S automatically displays the rear camera feed. By default, this action does not mute or pause your current audio source. The audio continues uninterrupted, allowing you to maintain your listening experience while backing up.
